| Food preparation tips | Tips for Starting Solid Foods: Infant cereal is an important part of your child''s diet for both infants and toddlers. Have your baby in an upright position to make swallowing easier. For Easy Mixing: 1. Pour desired amount into cap and transfer to a bowl. Start with a tablespoon and increase up to 1/2 a cup (Measures are approximate, not exact.) as baby''s appetite grows. 2. Stir in breast milk, formula, infant juice, or water and serve. To Microwave: 1. Measure out 1/4 cup (Measures are approximate, not exact.) in cap and mix with 1/2 cup unheated liquid in a microwavable bowl. Measuring cap is microwave safe (recommend 15-30 seconds). 2. Warm at medium (50% power) for 15-30 seconds. Stir to even out temperature and test before feeding. |
