The Wren Shield is easy to use: Unscrew the roof to see when the first or second egg has been laid, then hang the Wren Shield in front of the entrance. Bluebirds can easily enter and exit the nestbox and may continue to lay eggs. Once the hatchlings are between 4 and 7 days old, position the Wren Shield in the upright position so as not to interfere with fledging.
