Considered an heirloom variety, Elberta is still one of the most popular peach trees sold. Early spring puts on a beautiful display of pink blossoms that will eventually turn to fruit. Elberta is a freestone variety and produces large, yellow, and juicy peaches that can be eaten fresh or canned. The peaches ripen in mid-late summer. At maturity, it can reach a height of 10-14 feet and a spread of 8-12 feet. Elberta is a self-pollinator and requires 800-950 chill hours during the dormancy period .USDA ZONES: Zone 5, Zone 6, Zone 7, Zone 8

  • Due to agricultural laws, we CANNOT SHIP TO California, AZ, AK, or HI - orders will be cancelled if you ship to one of these states
  • Elberta peaches are classified as freestone peaches, meaning that the flesh easily separates from the pit or stone. This characteristic makes them ideal for culinary uses, as the pit can be removed easily, simplifying the process of slicing or cooking with the fruit
  • Tree height at time of shipment varies; minimum tree height of 2-3 ft is to be expected
  • Elberta peach trees are renowned for producing large, juicy, and sweet peaches. The fruit is prized for its excellent flavor, making it a popular choice for fresh eating, canning, and baking
  • USDA Hardiness Zones: Typically Zones 5-8
